No, if you don't have a login (email id and password) you will be unable to access all the new features on the site.

I subscribe to more than one Informa service; can I use the same login name and password to access all of my services?
If you or your company are subscribers to more than one of our news services, you will not need to register your profile more than once. When logged into any service, use the navigation buttons at the top right of the page, or use the related links to navigate through multiple products from a particular story.

What is RSS? How do I set up RSS feeds for ScripClinicalResearch.com?
An RSS web feed is a type of XML that delivers headlines from ScripClinicalResearch.com to your computer, updated every time new stories are added. You can click on the headlines to open each story.

To use this service you will need an RSS reader, of which there are many available online. Some are very simple and free; others are more complicated and have to be purchased. Here is a selection:

How does the website identify me as a registered user? Your subscription is enabled by the use of a cookie. A cookie is essentially your identification card, and cannot interfere with your software or deliver viruses. It is uniquely yours and can only be read by the server that placed it on your computer.

Cookies used by the website contain information about your subscription; they authenticate your registration and allow access to your account.

Please note that cookies must be enabled to access your subscription on the website. If a user's computer is set up to delete or disable cookies, this will prevent access to your subscription.

How do I view and edit my personal details?
Once you have logged in with your username and password, click on the ‘Manage my Account' button on the right of the page.

From here, click on ‘View/Edit Contact Details' and you can view/edit your account details.

How do I change my Password?
Once you have logged in with your username and password, click on the ‘Manage my Account' button on the right of the page.

From here, click on ‘Change Password' and you can change your password.

How do I view my subscription details?
Once you have logged in with your username and password, click on the ‘Manage my Account' button on the right of the page.

From here, click on ‘View subscription details' and you can check the status of your account.

How do I manage my e-Alerts?

Standard news alerts
Standard news e-alerts round up the key news stories of the day and are sent to the email registered on your account. From these e-alerts you will be able to click through to the complete story on the site. Alerts are sent out at a frequency set by you. This can be daily, weekly or monthly. You can also turn them off. The e-alert can either be in html or text.

To manage your standard alerts, once you have logged in with your username and password, click on the ‘Manage my Account' button on the right of the page

From here, click on ‘Manage Standard News E-Alerts' and you can change your settings. This page allows you to edit the format and frequency of your standard subscription alerts. Any custom email alerts you have can be managed in the saved searches section. Standard alerts can be set for PDF issues.
Personalised news alerts
After saving a search, you can have an alert sent to your email at a frequency of your choice. If, for example, your search includes ‘Pfizer', you can have the refreshed results of your search emailed to you daily, weekly or monthly.

What is My Clipboard? How do I use it?
Your Clipboard is located on the right hand side of the site. You can only access this once you are logged in. The Clipboard will enable you to select, save and print as many articles as you need. To add an article to your Clipboard, simply click on the paper clip in the top right hand corner of a full article. This will then be saved to your Clipboard.

How do I complete an advanced search?
To run an advanced search, click on the ‘Advanced Search' link (beneath the Quick Search box) on any page. You will be taken to a page where you can choose from a selection of categories, including: Companies, Patients, Investigators, Trials & Research, Regulatory, and Therapeutics.

From here choose whether you want to search for any of the words, all the words or the exact phrase using the dropdown beneath the Keyword search box on the Advanced Search page.

You can: Specify the date or select the date range of the published material you want to return

Narrow your search by selecting from one or more categories, including: Companies, Patients, Investigators, Trials & Research, Regulatory, and Therapeutics. Click the ‘Search' button at the bottom of the page to perform the search.

Once your search has finished you can sort your Advanced Search results by chronologically or by relevance. You can also increase or decrease the number of results appearing on a page

To save your results, simply click on the ‘Saved Search' button at the top right of the Advanced Search page and select a name for your saved search. You can also check the box ‘Alert me for new content' and choose the frequency (daily, weekly or monthly) from the dropdown box below.

The updated results of your saved search will then be emailed to you at your chosen frequency.

How do I set up and edit my Saved Searches?
To save your results, simply click on the ‘Saved Search' button at the top right of the Advanced Search page and select a name for your saved search.

How do I print an article?
To print a Printer-Friendly version of a page, click the Printer icon on the top of an article. This will launch a new window where you can select your print options. You can also print from your Clipboard. After you have added your article to the Clipboard, you can select the item and click on the print icon. You can print more than one article.

How do I add and remove users?
If you have bought a multi-user licence, you can set up the login details of all users under your account by entering each user's name, email address and your chosen login names and passwords. You can delete or change details of users at any time during your subscription period.

Can I share my login name and password with a colleague?
No, sharing your login name and password with another person would violate the Terms and Conditions of your subscription. Each login name and password is limited to one user.

Can I login from more than one computer?
According to the Terms and Conditions of your subscription, each login name and password is limited to one user. For your convenience, you may occasionally access the news from another computer when travelling or working from home.
However systematic access from more than one computer would be regarded by Informa as a violation of the Terms and Conditions of your subscription.
